We are shifting from a traditional B2B model to a B2B2C approach, where customer loyalty and recurring transactions form the core of our strategy.

This rebranding is much more than just a name change. It represents a strategic evolution in several key aspects:

  • From vending to new sectors: Frekuent is no longer limited to self-service machines; we now cover multiple sectors with the goal of revolutionizing payments across all types of automated services.
  • From micropayments to global payments: We are moving away from the concept of "micropayments" to position ourselves in the broader payments market, offering a more comprehensive and robust solution.

Strategic Alliance with Visa: A Key Step Toward the Future

One of the most significant milestones in this new phase is our partnership with VISA. Through its VISA Acceptance platform, Frekuent will be able to process payments more efficiently, securely, and seamlessly. But this collaboration goes even further:

  • Access to a global infrastructure: VISA operates in over 200 countries, allowing us to scale our business and accept payments worldwide quickly and securely.
  • Credibility and market trust: Partnering with VISA positions us as a key player in the payments industry, building trust with banks, financial institutions, clients, and consumers.
  • Constant innovation: Thanks to this partnership, we can stay at the forefront of digital payments, continuously developing, testing, and implementing new technologies.

Fueling Growth with New Investment

To achieve our ambitious goals, we raised €6 million in pre-Series A financing. The round was led by Acurio and Kfund through Leadwind. Existing investors Bonsai and Actyus also participated. This investment will drive European expansion, entry into the Latin American and Asian markets, as well as product development and R&D. We plan to grow our team from 40 to 70 employees and expect to close a Series A round by the end of 2025.

We are operating in multiple sectors, from vending to other automated services: public transport, petrol stations, electric vehicle chargers, self-service laundries, etc. And we are open to any other sector that fits the recurrence.
